Rockin' Through The Rye
A popular Scottish folk song, modified by the poet Robert Burns in the late 18th century,
was updated again by Bill Haley & his Comets for this early folk-rock workout – another smash hit.
(Dig the razzle-dazzle graphic design!) The first rock ‘n’ roller to impress British fans, Haley released a dozen singles here before Elvis released one.
